Aerosoft releases OnAir: Airline Manager A persistent world, that hosts your own airline and can be connected to your simulation sessions.
Paderborn November 13, 2019 – Simulation expert Aerosoft released the Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game OnAir: Airline Manager today. Designed for flight simmers and tycoon enthusiasts, the real-time manager is now available via a subscription service: the first two weeks are free of cost.
At its core, OnAir: Airline Manager is a traditional tycoon: there are elements like a skill tree, experience points, and an increasing difficulty. Players begin by starting an own airline company and grow it into a larger one little by little. This can be achieved by transporting goods, for instance. As a flight simmer, the player is able fly these missions himself by connecting the manager with Microsoft FSX, Prepar3D, or XPlane. However, there is also the opportunity to hire a virtual pilot who flies the missions.
The game’s jobs are diverse: users have to plan maintenance, hire crew members, check the real-time weather, and train their pilots. Experience points can be used in the skill tree to improve the player’s skill set. Over time, new challenges will come up.
Moreover, users are able to cooperate with friends to let their business grow. The smartphone is of help for the player as well: the company’s progress and the mission market can be observed with a free accompanying app.
OnAir: Airline Manager is available now via the OnAir-Website, Steam, and the Aerosoft-Shop. The subscription service’s first two weeks are free of cost. Afterwards, there are offers for several subscription models with tiered pricing: from one month (9,00€) until 24 months (57,00€).
Important features:
Covers the whole world with all airports – from the smallest to the largest
Incredible freedom on how to play the game: decide on how to use the world
Invite friends to join your airline: they won’t pay until they start their own company
Can be used as a stand-alone tycoon type of game or as a companion for Microsoft FSX, all versions of Prepar3D, and XPlane 10 and 11
Free accompanying app for iPhone and Android
Not an online game: OnAir: Airline Manager runs locally on your system but needs an internet connection to connect to the OnAir world server
